About Vasakronan Telefonvägen 26, Midsommarkransen
Telefonplan is an area with a strong identity, classified as a national interest for its rich industrial history. In the building where these premises are located, there are preserved environments from the 1940s when Ericsson built the area. Today there is a mix of different businesses, plenty of nice lunch places and restaurants open in the evening. You can work out at SATS or at Sweden's largest climbing center. The metro takes you to T-Centralen in 13 minutes. For those who cycle, there is good bicycle parking and shower and changing rooms. Parking is available adjacent to the building and in the nearby garage. In the neighboring building there is a shared reception and a small conference facility. Telefonfabriken, as the building at L M Ericsssons väg 30 is called, was designed by architect Ture Wennerholm for Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson. The company moved here as early as 1940. The building is a classic and very fine example of "funkis", i.e. functionalism, which became a concept in the 1930s. There are many details here that are well worth preserving and therefore, for example, facades and some interior details are listed.
