About the serviced office market in Malmö
To try to sum up my thoughts on the overall market, I’d say it’s partly shaped by international players and partly by national ones. Some operators have crossed the strait from Denmark, while many are present across Sweden’s major cities, such as United Spaces, Quick Office, and Embassy House. There are also global players like Regus and Spaces that are found in many countries, as well as operators that (so far) focus exclusively on southern Sweden—Malmö, Lund, and Helsingborg—such as High Court, Workopolis, and Genetor.
The rental levels for serviced offices in Malmö are, in my opinion, attractive and reasonable given the supply. Compared to other cities in Sweden, you can find real gems among the serviced offices here in Malmö—deals I can hardly imagine existing elsewhere in the country. The fact that so many offer beautiful sea views and truly excellent service makes it an even more appealing market.
My personal favorite serviced office in Malmö
That’s a really tough question, as there are many I genuinely like, but if I have to pick just one, I’d probably choose Workopolis. Partly because it’s a completely local operator, which I appreciate and want to support in general. They’re competitively priced and offer some of the most cost-effective solutions in Malmö—while also being centrally located in Västra Hamnen with a stunning view and a truly lovely terrace. There are even larger setups here with space for up to 90 fixed workstations, which is quite rare.
