It also feels like Södermalm is growing, especially with areas like Slakthusområdet and Hammarby Sjöstad emerging nearby. These neighborhoods have introduced a lot of new coworking supply that competes with Södermalm, often offering slightly lower rents with just as high—or even higher—standards.

My personal favourites at Södermalm

My personal favourites on Södermalm are A House Slussen and Metropole Södra. I love A House because of its stunning design—the natural light here gives you so much energy, and the vibe is genuinely great. It's also very conveniently located, right next to Slussen’s subway station.

Metropole Södra I really appreciate thanks to their clear niche, which isn’t unique just to Metropole Södra but runs through all their locations. However, since this coworking space is so large, they’ve really gone all in—installing everything from VR and gaming rooms to a restaurant, recording studios, and many other features that appeal to their typical clientele. The vibe here is awesome, the companies that rent space are great, and the team behind Metropole are just genuinely fantastic people—it’s hard not to like them.
